“Risk of trouble”
“Thus, given the risks of serious disturbances to order, safety, security and public health that the holding of such a gathering would present, associated with the fact that the organization of an undeclared demonstration is an offense, the prefect of Aveyron prohibits by prefectural decree any gathering of the rave party, free-party or teknival type throughout the department of Aveyron, until Friday May 31”, continues the prefecture.
In mid-April, a wild rave party brought together several thousand people in Larzac. The gendarmerie intervened on the spot. The participants stayed for a few days before leaving the premises.
“Sanctions”
“The circulation of motor vehicles transporting sound equipment in connection with the aforementioned festive events is also prohibited, during this period and throughout the department,” supports the prefecture. Any infraction is subject to sanctions […] and may give rise to the seizure of the material with a view to its confiscation by the court. The prefect of Aveyron therefore calls on everyone to show responsibility by respecting these measures taken for the safety of all.
