Monday May 6, 2024, a 46-year-old homeless man was arrested by the Saint-Maixent-l’Ecole gendarmerie brigade for having ransacked the home of a friend who was hosting him in Augé (Deux-Sèvres).

Drunk, the individual attacked two police officers. One of them was granted one day of total incapacity for work (ITT) while the second was prescribed two days of ITT.

Interviewed by the Niort research brigade, the police decided to file a complaint against the man “well known to the Saint-Maixent-l’Ecole gendarmerie services”. Deux-Sévrien was taken into custody and then released. He will appear in court in 2025.
