The damage was significant after the loss of control of a heavy goods vehicle driver who was traveling on the Pontarlier ring road (Doubs). The truck finished its journey this Tuesday, May 7 in the Cafés Querry business, where there were around ten customers.

“There were no injuries, only material damage”. On social networks, the managers of the Cafés Querry store in Pontarlier want to be reassuring, because we certainly narrowly escaped the tragedy.

During the afternoon, a semi-trailer crashed into the store, after the driver lost control of the truck. The vehicle jumped the embankment before hitting the front of the store.

The driver was slightly injured and was quickly taken care of by the firefighters at a nearby station. The driver was taken to Pontarlier hospital.

The ten people present in the store were also taken care of by the emergency services, including psychological assistance by telephone, provided by Samu.
