Manche habitat submitted the building permit in October 2023 for the construction of a residence “intergenerational and inclusive” of 36 housing units in place of the old central kitchen, demolished in 2021 rue de Grimouville, in Saint-Lô (Manche) The housing units will range from T1 to T4 (number of rooms) and will be intended “to people with disabilities, seniors, students, young professionals and single-parent families. » The different formulas are PLAI (Rental loan with integration assistance) and PLUS (Rental loan for social use).

There will also be “commercial premises, common areas and a children’s room. A LADAPT facilitator (Association for the integration of disabled people) will take action. » The cost of the project amounts to nearly 5.5 million euros. The Saint-Lô Agglo office approved two grants of €80,000 on May 6, 2024. “It’s a very interesting project because of its location and its model”, underlines Emmanuelle Lejeune, mayor of Saint-Lô. The project is due to start in September 2024 for a period of twenty months.

Coliservice settles in Bourgvallées

Saint-Lô Agglo has validated the sale of 7,200 m² of the La Lande business zone in Saint-Samson-de-Bonfossé (Bourgvallées) for €108,000 excluding taxes, for the benefit of the company Coliservice. Established in Carentan since 1999, and in Canisy since 2014, Coliservice carries out 10,000 shipments per day and employs 120 people.

Cécile Fournier is no longer chief of staff of Saint-Lô Agglo. Having left for an equivalent position at the Departmental Council of Deux-Sèvres, she was replaced by Corinne Descours, originally from Vaucluse.

This is the amount of bonuses granted by Saint-Lô for the acquisition and renovation of housing that has been vacant for more than two years, for 17 different projects. There are still €530,000 in credits available by 2027. The Agglo wants 160 vacant homes to be put back on the market.
