What happened this Monday, May 6, 2024 in Condezaygues, near Fumel (Lot-et-Garonne)? A gendarmerie investigation will have to determine this, but it seems that a drama was narrowly avoided following a firearm attack which left one person injured.
Slightly injured
Around 10 a.m., the firefighters were alerted. A 39-year-old man, a heavy goods vehicle driver, had just been a victim of an assault with a firearm, on public roads. Slightly injured, he was evacuated to hospital without his life being in danger. The shooter, for his part, had fled.
A large police force then set up to intercept the shooter on the one hand. Do scientific and technical surveys on the scene of the attack on the other hand.
The suspect was arrested shortly after, then taken into custody. The reasons why they would have acted remain to be determined.
