Tragic fire, on the night of Sunday May 5 to Monday May 6, 2024, at 9, rue du Moulin à tide, in the Kerentré district, in Theix-Noyalo (Morbihan). An 85-year-old woman died despite the rapid intervention of emergency services.
The fire broke out shortly before midnight. It took the intervention of twenty-nine firefighters with nine machines, equipped with water lances and a telescopic basket, to extinguish the fire.
An ongoing investigation
A 56-year-old woman was transported by Samu to the burns department of the Nantes hospital center. A 53-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man were treated by firefighters. Their condition did not require transport to hospital.
The house was completely destroyed by flames.
The gendarmerie company confirms that an investigation is underway by the Theix-Noyalo brigade. Criminal investigation technicians intervened on site this Monday morning. No hypothesis is favored at the moment.
