They allegedly tied up their victim during an evening in Cantal: the two suspects incarcerated

After the attack that occurred in Mauriac on the night of Friday May 3 to Saturday May 4, two suspects were arrested and then placed in police custody. Heard this Monday, May 6, they were placed in detention.

The two men arrested on Saturday May 4 in Mauriac, after a forty-year-old man was found injured, were presented to the Aurillac public prosecutor’s office on Monday May 6. They were placed in detention in Aurillac and Tulle.

A psychiatric assessment was requested. They will be tried before the Aurillac court, in immediate appearance with a deferred deadline, on June 18.

Unleash of violence

The first, aged 43, lives in Mauriac. The second, aged 52, is homeless. During the evening, the two defendants allegedly hit the 46-year-old Mauriacois, whom they tied up for part of the night, before carrying him, unconscious, home. He was hospitalized for a while and suffered multiple injuries.
