The former President of the Republic of Senegal seems to be aware of the “danger” of dislocation that awaits his party. Macky Sall sent delegations to activists in the Tamba and Kaffrine regions, to meet and remobilize activists from his political side.
In Kaffrine, activists and departmental officials were gathered under the leadership of former minister Abdoulaye Seydou Sow, mayor and political leader of Benno. The president of the Apr spoke to them: “For 12 years, we went to elections and won. The very last one, however, was not favorable to us. These are things that happen. However, this should not discourage us and call into question our determination. Without controversy or dispute, and always in a spirit of unity, we will study the causes of this defeat,” reports Le Quotidien, which takes up the former Senegalese head of state. The president of Benno even, to give assurance to his activists, recalled the achievements under his leadership: “Whether in the field of education, fishing, breeding or others. Whatever the sector, our efforts are visible. And this must be explained to the Senegalese, telling them that what President Macky Sall had to do for this country should not be neglected, but on the contrary, reinforced. And it only depends on you, your unit, your mobilization. This is the message that I entrusted to this delegation, for you,” urged the president of Benno, inviting his activists to “stay united, resolutely focused on the future and to resume work at the grassroots. »
