Like every year in May, New Aquitaine organizes “the pretty month of Europe” with cultural, gastronomic, festive and even civic events. In Creuse, a “Europe café” is being organized this Saturday in Guéret. The opportunity to talk about the European elections of June 9.

In a month, Europe will change Parliament and new deputies will be elected after the elections on Sunday June 9. European elections which are honored in New Aquitaine and therefore in Creuse via “the pretty month of Europe” are organized every year. Tomorrow, a “Europe café” is organized in Guéret, to talk about the progress and the issues at stake in this election.

A vote shunned by the Creusois in May 2019 with 47% abstention. And yet, Europe is used in our daily lives, explains Isabelle Boudineau: “In 7 years, Creuse has received 71 million euros” develops the regional advisor delegated to Europe and European cooperation, “money to support projects like the Cité de la Tapisserie, the installation of a medical office or nursing home.”
