From May 13, the Nyon Industrial Services (SI Nyon) will carry out work on the Route de Duillier, between the Longeraie roundabout and the crossroads with the Chemin de Changins (see the map).

Made necessary due to the dilapidation and wear of the current installations, this work, which will last approximately three months, will allow the installation of a new drinking water pipe. SI Nyon will take advantage of the trench to also replace certain electrical tubes.

During this period, traffic will be modified. The lane towards Geneva will be closed to vehicles and cycles. However, the lane towards Lausanne will remain open and will have a minimum width of 3.50 meters, thus ensuring that traffic flows.

To limit inconvenience, the work will be carried out in six distinct stages. Each section of work will not exceed 70 meters. An alternating traffic management system using traffic lights will be installed. Radar detection will prioritize travel towards Duillier, to avoid significant congestion on the Etraz road.

Cyclists will have to share the lane with other vehicles on sections with alternating traffic. Adjustments will be made to the lights to facilitate their passage. Access for pedestrians and local residents will be maintained, with specific marked routes.
