Since this summer, the taxis in Condé-en-Normandie and Vassy (Calvados) have changed owners. Until then operated by Pierrette Parisy of the company Taxi Condé Salomé, the license was bought by Gaëtan Graffard, which is not unknown in the region. Already a taxi craftsman in Orne for 20 years, he joined forces with Yann Prod’homme, former accountant converted to passenger transport 6 years ago.

“We are approved by Social Security,” explains Gaëtan. “In this sector, more than 80% of the work is dedicated to seated medical transport. For the rest, it’s classic transport, to Vire or Flers stations, or to Caen-Carpiquet airport. »
140,000 km traveled each year
To meet the high demand, with an average of 140,000 km traveled each year, Gaëtan is surrounded by a team of five drivers. A place to welcome the public has just been purchased in the town center of Condé-sur-Noireau. It is expected to open by the end of 2025.
