Dakar, May 6 (APS) – The daily newspapers received Monday at the Senegalese Press Agency mainly focused on the support of the President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye for the Palestinian cause, during the 15 summit of the Organization of Islamic cooperation (OCI) and the decisions of the first meeting of the political office of Pastef (African Patriots of Senegal for work, ethics and fraternity).

The President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye took part in the 15e summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference which was held from May 4 to 5, in Banjul, the Gambian capital.

”The President, advocate of the Palestinian cause”, reads Le Soleil on its front page. The national daily underlines that ”during the 15the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Banjul, Gambia, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, pleaded the Palestinian cause, in the name of Islamic solidarity, but above all by simple humanism”.
