Kaolack/ rehabilitation of the “Waldiodio Ndiaye” high school: the Association of former students begins the process

The steering committee of former students of the “Waldiodio Ndiaye” high school no longer wants the high school to continue to suffer the threats of ruin that have been hanging over it for several years now. These former residents of this legendary temple of knowledge expressed this feeling last Saturday, during a forum organized by the high school students and to which they were invited. As they consider it, this large school complex which has trained eminent executives and leaders in this country including the former President of the Republic Macky Sall, lives in such an advanced state of disrepair that it is threatened with collapse. Which, as a result, lamentably encroaches on educational performance in training and learning systems. A situation which, according to former students of the high school, cannot continue. Thus strongly mobilized, the former high school residents say they have already gathered a certain number of material, financial and human resources to face this problem and play the leading roles in its resolution. However, they call on the country’s high authorities, the academic departments concerned and other goodwill to take ownership of this project, but above all to speed up the rehabilitation operations of this high school full of stories whose renovation has become a key priority for present generations. and above all the educational system which is today seriously threatened, according to the steering committee for actions dedicated to this infrastructure.
