The First Secretary of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, Driss Lachguar, received, Wednesday October 2, 2024 at the party’s central headquarters in Rabat, a Palestinian delegation made up of Minister Ahmed Aâssaf, head of the official media of the State of Palestine accompanied of the Palestinian ambassador in Rabat, Jamal Choubki, of the general director of information at Palestine television, Mohamed Khalil, of the general director of the radio “voice of Palestine”, Aâid Oumaïr, of the editorial head of the newspaper “Al Hayat Al Jadida”, Mahmoud Abou Al Hayjae, the general editorial director at the Palestinian Information and Intelligence Agency, Mouhanad Jeddouae and the director of the minister’s “Ouafa” office, Mohamed Khadr.

Members of the Political Bureau took part in this meeting, the discussions of which focused on the various questions relating to developments in the Middle East, in particular relating to Palestine, particularly in the aftermath of the dramatic events after October 7. Abderrahim Chahid, Saïd Baâziz, Hamad El Aaked, Fatiha Sdass, Badiaâ Radi and Abdallah Essoubaïri.

The two parties addressed the issues and the latest developments giving rise to the need for general mobilization and major reflection regarding the continued defense and support of the Palestinian question and the legitimate demands of the Palestinian people in international bodies.

In this regard, emphasis was placed on continuing coordination and consultation with the various Moroccan political groups, led by the Socialist Union of Popular Forces both internally and on the external fronts which constitute important stations. active coordination between the USFP and the various international democratic forums…
