Members of the collective of victims of the SN-HLM of Thiès spoke to the press to deplore the situation which prevails in their neighborhoods in the context of the affair which pits them against this company. They are from the city of Diamalaye, Silmang, Keur Dago, Stop 10 Tata, Keur Massamba Guèye Peulh, etc… “We come to ask for assistance and justice. Indeed, since the advent of the new power, the SN-HLM of Thiès …, is in the process of victimizing itself through the media by declaring that the lands which are in Silmang, in Keur Dago, Arrrêt 10, Keur Massamba Guèye Peulh and the TF75-30 are at the origin of its thousand and 1 problems. Which is totally inaccurate…”, they indicated during their face-to-face meeting with the press.

In his statement, Mansour Ndiaye, a resident of the Diamalaye city, wanted to dot the “i”. “We residents of Keur Dago, Silmang, Stop 10, etc., acquired our land, which has now become 75% houses, following the division of fields inherited from our grandparents or the division of TF 75/30. All in all, we affirm that this problem was the subject of a legal case which we won. The HLMs were dismissed and an appeal of non-cassation issued under number 0093/CSGCSP of 1/12. 2020. Today, the administrative act dating from 1958 which gave us so much satisfaction has become TF 75/30 The real law remains because the SN/hlm has only one objective: to demolish our houses, demolish our neighborhoods which are 75% inhabited, cleaned up with water supply by the m and electricity by Senelec… We have never been outlaws, we have always responded to justice…”

The collective deplores at the same time “the on-site demolition of foundations before calling on the State of Senegal.

A case to follow…
