As part of the 40th anniversary of the Tarn Conservatory of Music and Dance, its artist-teachers invite you, this Sunday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m., to discover their very eclectic artistic universes, from classical music to contemporary dance , from romantic expressiveness to “entertainment” music… A journey through the ages and styles.
There will be a Claudia Peres piano duo and Fanny Pérez violin, 4-hand piano: Claudia Pérès and Julien Gaudinière, a Fanny Pérez violin trio, Claudia Pérès piano and Alain Simonou cello which will bring into resonance different repertoires from Beethoven to Schubert, from Borodin to Saint-Saëns. Without forgetting a powerful drum/dance creation by and with Sébastien Albert and Nathalie Foulquier.
In the second part, the Bois and Co ensemble brings together 16 musicians from the Bois family but not only… professional musicians and teachers in Tarn, Haute-Garonne and Hérault, who decided to come together to play together and promote their instruments. This unique ensemble brings together a quartet of flutes, a quartet of clarinets, three saxophones, but also an oboe, a bassoon, a double bass and percussion, under the leadership of conductor Renaud Escriva! It offers you a program of pieces around the theme of dance, composed by Henri Sauguet, Kurt Weill and Laurent Bomont and arranged for Bois and Co.
Diversity of formats, plurality of works, artistic complicity: the moment promises to be generous and vibrant.
