A violent fight, the motive for which is unknown, broke out between two homeless men near 96 avenue de Savoie in Pontcharra around 10:30 p.m. this Wednesday, October 2.

One of the protagonists brutally kicked the other in the head – breaking his nose and several teeth and even ripping off his ear – before setting his two dogs against him.

Suffering from severe injuries and multiple bites, the victim, aged 28, was treated by firefighters and taken to Chambéry hospital.

Alerted, the gendarmes from the Meylan company quickly found the main suspect, aged 24, who was arrested in Leyssaud in Savoie and placed in police custody.
