Wanting to ensure sustainable food security, Mauritania requested Moroccan expertise. This strategic collaboration began with the arrival of many Moroccan farmers in Mauritania. The country currently depends heavily on agricultural imports, particularly from Morocco, which supplies it with around 170,000 tonnes of various agricultural products each year.
