“For a bell founder, working for Notre-Dame de Paris is a bit of a lifelong dream,” summarizes Paul Bergamo, head of the Cornille-Havard foundry in Villedieu-les-Poêles-Rouffigny (Manche). The workshop restores eight bells of the cathedral. Its mission: to restore its voice to the cathedral, silent since the fire in 2019.
