The Bobigny public prosecutor’s office opened a murder investigation on Wednesday after the discovery in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) of a 40-year-old woman dead in her home, he told theAFP.
Found naked
“A woman born in March 1984 was found dead at her home in Aubervilliers after a friend became concerned about not having heard from her,” declared to theAFP the parquet.
According to a police source, the victim was found naked in her bedroom on Tuesday evening. She showed signs of strangulation and strong blows to the head.
Police officers came to the home
Police officers showed up at this address late Tuesday afternoon, called by a neighbor reporting screams of a woman being attacked, but left without finding a victim, according to the police source.
No arrests took place at this stage, the prosecution reported.
The investigation is entrusted to the criminal brigade of the Paris judicial police.
