Abdulla Adnan, who previously served as Director for Tanzania, brings a wealth of experience and sector expertise that will further strengthen Emirates’ management team in Morocco.

The appointment is part of an expanded leadership rotation for Emirates’ Middle East and Africa operations that aims to support the airline’s long-term growth and strategic initiatives. “Six UAE nationals, including Abdulla Adnan, will take on new leadership roles, strengthening Emirates’ commercial capabilities in these vital markets,” the company said in its statement.

Adnan Kazim, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, said the airline’s commercial directors have always played a vital role in Emirates’ global operations over the years. “Today’s appointments demonstrate our confidence in their continued contributions to strengthening our activities in the GCC,” (Gulf Cooperation Council), Middle East and Africa. For his part, Abdulla Adnan, said that “Morocco has immense growth potential and I look forward to working with our local team to further strengthen Emirates’ position as a key player in the market.”

In addition to operations management, Abdulla Adnan will bring a global perspective to his role in Morocco where he will focus on improving Emirates’ customer experience, increasing market share and strengthening partnerships with the main stakeholders stimulating the tourism sector and trade between Morocco and world markets, notes the same source.
