Safia Cherkaoui has not appeared since she left her school, the Institut Communal Professionnel des Polders, in the Brussels commune. She left this establishment located on rue des Polders in Uccle around 2:20 p.m.

The missing woman is reported to be approximately 1m63 tall and of slim build. She has shoulder-length black hair and wears dark rectangular glasses.

“On Tuesday she wore a mid-length black jacket, a pale pink sweater, wide blue jeans with side pockets and white sneakers. She was in possession of a purple Eastpak backpack,” according to the description of the wanted poster.

The girl may “appear normal and respond correctly” when in reality she is “confused and disoriented,” according to the notice.
