The Francophonie unfolds in all its facets on the occasion of its 19the international summit, in Villers-Cotterêts. On the sidelines, the “Refaire le monde” festival offers a series of artistic events.
From Quebec to Haiti, from West Africa to Asia, French resonates, transforms, adapts and remains alive. Nearly 321 million people speak it and 150 million learn it. It is this vitality that the Festival de la francophonie highlights from October 2 to 6, at the Gaîté Lyrique and in several emblematic places in Paris (Académie française, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Conciergerie, etc.). An event which takes place in parallel with the Francophonie Summit (October 4 and 5), organized for the first time in 33 years in France, and which is held at the Cité internationale de la langue française in Villers-Cotterêts, after having been welcomed in 2022 in Djerba, Tunisia.
