Every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., except May 1 and 8, chess circle led by Jean-François Chuc.

Friday May 3 at 3 p.m.: reading-show “Garden Secrets”. Claude Leclerc offers a reading show for all audiences entitled “Gourmandises”.

Tuesday May 7 at 2 p.m.: writing workshop and home delivery of books. At 8 p.m., parenting evening “Conflicts in the family”, in partnership with MJC Mobi’Lot with Silvia Duchene, positive discipline facilitator.

Tuesday May 14 at 2 p.m. at the Micro-Folie, afternoon Art Stories with “Orientalism under the brushes of Jean-Dominique Ingres and Eugène Delacroix”. Mady Ros presents a conference on Orientalism through the paintings by Ingres and Delacroix.

Friday May 17: seniors meeting. Wednesday May 22 at 11:30 a.m.: animated readings for children aged 2 to 6 with Corinne, Hélène and Virginie around the book and the world of Agnès Domergue and Clémence Pollet. Tuesday May 28 at 2:30 p.m.: reading circle.

In May, several exhibitions are offered at the library. Until May 11: Gérald Bloncourt, the maverick of the image. Author of an abundant and varied body of work (painting, drawing, poetry, engraving, etc.), Gérald Bloncourt pursued a career as a reporter-photographer from the end of the 1940s and is the author of more than 200,000 photos.

From May 21 to 26: exhibition tour “History and techniques of cinema”. Gindou Cinéma offers an exhibition on the history and techniques of cinema. The exhibition consists of different modules. In addition to the information panels, there are objects to manipulate (magic lantern and other optical games), activities around editing and introductions to animation and sound effects on the iPad. At the Micro Folie, “Collection Ile de France” highlights places outside of Paris that are little or little known.
