Regional councilor Nicolas Bay acquitted after defamation complaint from rapper Médine
The rapper from Le Havre, Médine, filed a complaint in 2021 for defamation against Nicolas Bay. He described the artist as “close to the Islamist movement of the Muslim Brotherhood”. But for the court this statement constitutes an “opinion” and not defamation. Read here.
