If the latter readily presents himself as a “simple employee” of the Economy Department, others qualify him as “Mr. Bitcoin from the State of Neuchâtel”. It is not uncommon to come across him in meetings devoted to cryptocurrencies. Cap with the image of Bitcoin screwed onto the skull, it is easily recognizable. His encounter with digital currencies took place shortly after his arrival, in December 2013, within the cantonal administration.
