The final restitution concert of the 2023/2024 edition of the “Fabrique à Musique”, a system initiated by Sacem with the Lycée Lamartine and the Cave à Musique de Mâcon was held at the Cave à Musique this Thursday evening with the artist Sidonie Dubosc.

The “Les Fabriques à Musique” system reflects Sacem’s local involvement in the development of artistic and cultural practices among young audiences.

“This system which brings together all kinds of aesthetics has existed for 10 years” indicated Olivier Vitu, regional delegate of Sacem. “Each year, it concerns 30,000 students in France from kindergarten to high school. In Saône-et-Loire, between one and four Music Factory Or Song Factory ».

This year, 33 second-year students from Lamartine high school have been involved in this project since March. The singer Sidonie Dubosc, whose stage name is La Sido, suggested that they write two songs on two themes: “Being 16” and “The night and the dream”.

During six working sessions supervised by their French teacher and the Lam librarian, the young people worked on an individual writing project that Sidonie formatted to make a collective text and compose music while at the same time. raising awareness of the status of an author.

“La Fabrique à Chanson” also allowed high school students to be associated with performing and creative professions.

The second class therefore performed the first part of the La Sido concert last night. The artist performed “Portraits of Mines”, a solo musical show with singing and kalimba created in the summer of 2021.
