A high school student stabbed another student at the school in Toulouse. He was arrested.
A second year student was attacked with a knife by another final year student at the Urbain Vitry high school in Toulouse this Thursday, May 2, BFMTV learned from the rectorate, confirming the information from The Dispatch. The suspect “superficially” injured the teenager in the arm during her PE class.
Teachers and other students intervened and “quickly controlled the student,” said the rectorate. “There was a student who intervened to prevent the attack, which caused the young girl to be slightly injured,” detailed the rector of the Toulouse academy Mostafa Fourar to the press.
The young man arrested
The student who intervened “reacted spontaneously when he saw the aggression of his classmate”. “He was supported by other students, teachers joined them,” he added.
The young man was arrested by the police and taken into custody. The victim was taken care of by the school nurse.
“Rector Mostafa Fourar strongly condemns this violent attack,” said the rectorate. A listening cell was set up this Friday morning within the high school.
