European: Dijon hosts a debate between local representatives

As part of the preparations for the European elections on June 9, the Côte-d’Or Saône-et-Loire section of the European Movement France co-organized a dynamic debate bringing together the different lists of political parties. The event, which will be held today at Cellier de Clairvaux at 7 p.m., will bring together several candidates and local representatives.

This event, which is part of a series of 16 debates organized throughout France by the local sections of the European Movement France and their partners, aims to encourage open and constructive dialogue. Each debate, covering various themes, is open to the general public with the aim of stimulating an informed public debate before the election on June 9.

The local section of the European Movement France, promoter of this initiative, underlines the importance of these debates as part of the “Europe for good!” campaign, a campaign to encourage voting and raise awareness carried out in collaboration with Young Europeans-France.

A representative range of local candidates will be present in Dijon to share their perspectives and responses to European issues. Among the confirmed participants, we include Anna Maillard of the Greens, Valérie Jacq of La France Insoumise, Patrick Molinoz for PRG/Volt, Jérémy Decerle of Need of Europe, Guillaume Ruet of the Républicains, Antoine Camus for Reconquête, Valérie Deloge of the Rassemblement National, Simon Nordmann of the Animalist Party, Pierre Dieumegard of Europe, Democracy, Esperanto, and Victor Lachenait for the PS/Place Publique.

The debate promises to be lively and enriching, offering citizens the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the positions of different parties and candidates on European issues. The event is open to all, but prior registration is recommended to ensure smooth organization and compliance with current health measures.
