“Tears of joy” First of all “to welcome athletes from around the world on July 26”to “tears of sadness on September 8 to greet their departure and see this beautiful parenthesis close after having experienced such beautiful and strong moments”launched Nadège Lefebvre, the president of the Department during the reception of the athletes from Team Oise24.

And as a sign after the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games and the closing ceremonies of the Paralympic Games, it was in the rain that this ceremony took place at the Oise Departmental Council on Wednesday September 25, thus closing this beautiful parenthesis of the 2024 Games “which could be described as memorable, unforgettable, remarkable, unique…”

For this occasion, the Olympic shooting vice-champion, Camille Jedrzejewski (from Varesnes, near Noyon), the three FC Précy-sur-Oise players in blind football gold (Fabrice Morgado, Alessandro Bartolomucci and Khalifa Youmé) and all the athletes of Team Oise24 received the Department medal.

The appointment is made in four years for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles

“We are proud of this great team that we supported and which participated in the various events organized by the Departmental Council”wanted to remind Nadège Lefebvre, without forgetting to mention the partners and volunteers.

From now on, see you in four years in Los Angeles with Team Oise 28, where we should find some athletes already present… and why not even new ones!
