The results of the Youth activities of the FFRandonnée Seine-Saint-Denis committee are very positive.
Let’s remember the most notable activities.
The Committee leaders intervened in 27 educational establishmentsor with 1,893 children in total.
Part of these actions were carried out in partnership with the USEP and the other part directly with educational establishments.
As part of an agreement with USEP 93, 38 facilitators including 9 new ones trained to lead school hikes in Seine-Saint-Denis. Thus 80 classes were able to benefit from these activities and discover the parks and towns of the department, for example with a day discovering the town of Noisy-le-Grand. And other hikes beyond: the Parc de la Villette, the forest of Fontainebleau, street art, the forest of Senlis, Giverny…
Directly with educational establishments, several green class outings were also framed:
– in Dordogne with two classes from Saint-Denis
– in Berry with two classes from Bondy
– at the UCPA base in Bois-le-Roi with three classes from Île-Saint-Denis
”My hiking notebook” was distributed free of charge to children who participated in Rando Jeunesse activities, with more than 1,100 notebooks offered.
This educational booklet has also been released in 2024 for the Normandy region, and two other variations are on the program.
Olympism on the agenda
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have been integrated into the commission’s actions. She participated in the organization of theOlympic roaming of 38 km from Noisy-le-Grand to Saint-Denis with several receptions in schools in stopover towns.
More than 200 children attended.
Focus on the Paris Olympics hike in Noisy-le-Grand – Seine Saint Denis
In Noisy-le-Grand, CE2 to CM2 students from the Jules Ferry school took part in the long hike from Noisy to Saint-Denis, 38 km over three days.
Ms. Berardo, a CM2 teacher, testifies: “Despite the fatigue of the first day, the children walked better day by day. The aim of the hike was to develop a taste for effort, surpassing oneself, perseverance, values of sport,” she said.

Another great success : The Pieds Agiles Club rewarded for a “hiking and educational” project: “The clippicium superius school trail” as part of the 2nd Club Trophies.
The concept: the creation by the students of an itinerary in the city of Clichy-sous-Bois connecting all the city’s educational establishments (high school, middle school, primary school) and the organization of hiking on this trail so that they can take ownership of their space and their heritage.
