The tiger mosquito is making a comeback in Dijon: let’s be ready!

With the return of sunny days, the tiger mosquito reappears in Dijon and more generally in mainland France. It is particularly active from May to November and can transmit diseases such as dengue, chikungunya and Zika.

In order to limit its proliferationpublic meetings are organized to inform residents about the prevention measures to take, regardless of their neighborhood of residence.

However, only one rule prevails: to get rid of it, you must remove the stagnant water where it lays its eggs.

Public meeting dates

  • for the Chevreuil – Parc – University districts, meet on Monday May 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Greuze school gymnasium
  • for the Bourroches – Fontaine d’Ouche districts, meet on Tuesday May 14 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bourroches Gymnase
  • for the Grésilles – Toison–d’Or districts, meet on Wednesday May 15 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Château de Pouilly school gymnasium
  • for the Montchapet – Drapeau – Maladière districts, meet on Thursday May 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Gymnase Boivin
  • finally, for the city center district, meet on Monday May 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Devosge room
