Federal hopefuls, national juniors: all the results and the final stages to come

Here are the results of the play-offs for the Federal Hopes and the National Juniors, as well as the program of matches for the 8th and 16th to come…

Federal hopes

Last Sunday the play-offs for the federal hopefuls took place, with only one away victory, that of the PUC in Grasse. The home teams therefore took advantage of their home advantage, even if some matches were fought until the last second. Like that of L’Isle-Jourdain which fell to a final penalty on the gong. St Médard en Jalles therefore remains at the dock. Tyrosse did not provide details against Gaillac, and will meet Bagnères for an electric round of 16.

National juniors

The national junior play-offs played last Saturday gave rise to intense arm wrestling. Like between St Jean de Luz and St Médard en Jalles (definitely cursed), and between Meyzieu and the XV du Coudon. Two away victories are worth noting: Jacou 20-34 at Marseille Garlaban, and Riom against Beaune 13-24. Malemort, Langon, Rennes and Versailles experienced (a little) fewer difficulties on their territory. On to the round of 16 this weekend…
