This Saturday it will be possible to discover behind the scenes of the Dijon opera

This Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Dijon Opera opens the backstage of the auditorium for a day dedicated to artistic encounters. The teams invite you to discover the anecdotes of this majestic building, to meet the Éphémère children’s choir, to access a rehearsal of the new production of the Dijon Opera, but also to let your imagination speak through artistic workshops . In this year of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the event emphasizes an essential value that opera houses share with the Olympics: that of “team spirit”. Each event at an opera house (concert, lyrical or choreographic show, workshops, etc.) is the result of collective work serving all audiences, mobilizing a very wide range of professions and skills. Anxious to present work of excellence, all of these activities contribute to the creation of a unique moment brought about by the magic of the show. Let yourself be carried away by the life of an arts and entertainment house.

9:45 a.m.: Doors open / 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Plastic art workshop led by Tâche Papier / 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Makeup workshop / 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Guided tours behind the scenes of the Auditorium (Duration 45 min, departure every 15 min, last departure at 1 p.m.) / 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Participatory open rehearsal of the Ephemeral Children’s Choir / 2:15 p.m.: Introduction to the rehearsal of Puccini’s Tosca* / 2:30 p.m.-3 p.m.: Exclusive access to an extract from the Italian** rehearsal of Tosca (Free by reservation on the Dijon Opera website, subject to availability) / 2 p.m.-5 p.m.: Makeup workshop and plastic art workshop.
