It was 3:45 p.m. when the Finistère firefighters were alerted of a nautical accident by witnesses, in Fouesnant, this Sunday, September 29. A 58-year-old man was kite-surfing in the bay of La Forêt when he was thrown by a gust of wind against the facade of a house located on Avenue de la Pointe du Cap Coz, in Fouesnant.
A nurse who was walking nearby tried to resuscitate the victim, soon joined by two SNSM rescuers who were walking not far from the scene of the tragedy.
