To celebrate its 40 years of partnership with the Cannes Film Festival, the CST invites you to its pavilion on Saturday May 18 at 8 p.m.

The CST, historic technical partner of the Cannes International Film Festival, is celebrating this year its 40 years of know-how made available to the Festival to ensure the technical direction of its screenings.
For this 77th edition, the CST continues its commitment to the Festival by ensuring the technical and digital architecture of the rooms, by supervising the screenings of all the Festival selections, the screenings of the Film Market (Palais des Festivals and Gray d’Albion ) and those of Critics’ Week (Miramar). She also ensures validation of the setting and technical monitoring of screenings at the Marché du Film en ville.
Coordinator of all the projectionists as well as the teams and technical service providers of the Cannes Film Festival, the CST organizes and supervises, for the Official Selection, the nightly rehearsals with the filmmakers and their teams. Its targets, well known to film exhibition professionals, its expertise and control software are used throughout the event to offer the public a projection which reflects the artistic will of the filmmaker. It also ensures a monitoring presence during all screenings.
Without technique, no cinema!
Also find CST events at its pavilion where the “know-how” of cinematographic technique is in full swing in order to make the know-how of technicians accessible. Every day, the CST invites you to find:
- The Partners Club: honoring the technical industries that are members of the CST. Partners come to present their companies and their innovations in a friendly setting.
- CanneS Technique: masterclasses from experts and pioneers of the 7th art return for a third edition. CST partners will once again share the challenges of their professions and/or the new technologies that accompany them. From 10 a.m., find the daily Tech meeting of the Cannes Film Festival at the CST pavilion and live on the internet.
- CanneS prime time: big news this year, the CST is launching a brand new show in prime time access on its YouTube channel. From May 15 to 25, find its hosts Alexia De Mari and Mathieu Guetta accompanied by guests who will decipher the films in the official selection and present the candidates for the CST PRIZE for the Artist-Technician and the CST PRIZE for the Young Technician movies. The CST will also present its current issues.
Over the years, the CST pavilion at the Film Market has become THE essential place at the Cannes Film Festival, combining the quality of the presentations with a festive and friendly atmosphere where technique has its place. Every day, the technical teams of the films come there to exchange, discuss or simply relax thanks to its bar and its spaces, terrace or lounge.
… And as Cannes is a party, the CST invites you to celebrate its 40th anniversary in Cannes at its pavilion, 213, located at the Pantiero International Village, on Saturday May 18 from 8 p.m.!
