Casting The Voice in Quimper: Noah and Gwendal in the jury chairs!

“I received an incredible number of applications! “. Since the opening of registrations for the Breizh Musical Voice, Muriel Goalabré, from the GamMusical association, is drowning in emails. “I received twice as much as last year. And it doesn’t stop,” says the woman who is also a vocal coach.

More than 1000 singers have contacted her. Everyone dreams of participating in the Breizh Musical Voice, organized on Saturday May 4, 2024 in Quimper. Because this great evening of spectacle can be a springboard to access on the show The Voicebroadcast on TF1.

The Breizh Musical Voice is, in fact, a casting, but in show form. This is the third time that GamMusical has proposed this concept. A concept that appealed. “This was picked up in Lorient, by Jaime radio,” continues the producer.

In public

For this edition, the professional had to select talents from among the thousand applications received: 11 kids (up to 15 years old), and 18 adults (from 16 to 64 years old) have passed this first stage.

They will therefore sing on stage, and in front of an audience, Saturday May 4. A first for many. But they will be welcomed as they should be. “We will meet in the morning, I will brief them a little to prepare them,” continues Muriel Goalabré who saw two of her “kids” spotted by TV production last year. “There are some very nice, very varied profiles this year,” she says happily.

In terms of songs too, there will be a great variety. “The candidates make their own choice, but I have a right to review, I advise them,” confides the vocal coach.

The candidates will therefore, for many, sing for the first time in front of an audience, but also in front of a jury. A jury composed, among others, of Bixente Simonet, from the Dalida Institute, Vincent Jacob, manager, Isabelle Assih, mayor of Quimper, but also, obviously, of Bruno Berberèscasting director of the show.

And surprise: Noah And Gwendal, two candidates for the 2024 seasoncurrently being broadcast, will be part of this jury!

“They will also each sing two songs and perhaps a duet,” announces Muriel Goalabré, happy to welcome these voices which have already marked the show.

On the competition side, there is also something new this year. Because, in addition to the casting itself, the Musical Voice Show includes a competition. Prizes with significant prizes up for grabs: singing courses, studio recording…The mayor of Quimper will also give her favorite.
