Météo-France places 14 departments in the North-East quarter on orange alert for storms

“A stormy wave, organized and intense, will sweep the regions from northern Burgundy to Hauts-de-France between the end of the afternoon and the second part of the night from Wednesday to Thursday,” warns Météo-France.

Météo-France has placed 14 departments in the north-eastern quarter of France on orange alert for storms. The details concern Yonne, Aube, Marne, all the departments of Ile-de-France (Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Hauts-de-Seine, Val d’ Oise, Seine-et-Marne, Essonne, Yvelines), Aisne, Oise and Somme.

The event is scheduled to begin in the afternoon. “A stormy wave, organized and intense, will sweep the regions from northern Burgundy to Hauts de France between the end of the afternoon and the second part of the night from Wednesday to Thursday”writes Météo-France.
