Created by Sandrine Milic, a landscaper who has been passionate about the art of Japanese gardens for twenty years, these gardens deeply respect the Japanese tradition. They offer a diverse sensory experience that varies with the seasons, blooms and routes. From the spectacle of azaleas in spring to flamboyant maples as winter approaches, the gardens reveal themselves in the different seasons, including in the rain which accentuates the color of the gray stones, as Sandrine suggests.

During your visit, you can discover:

  • A strolling garden to stroll with serenity,
  • A painting garden, where each step reveals a poetic scene,
  • A tea garden, evoking the rituals of traditional Japanese ceremonies,
  • A dry garden, which illustrates the play between the ephemeral and the permanent,
  • And a meditation garden, for a moment of absolute calm.

These gardens, richly planted with various maples, pines, phlox and other species, evolve harmoniously. More than just a place to relax, the Japanese Gardens of Favières are also intended to be a center of cultural exchange, with spaces dedicated to exhibitions.
