An incredible affair took place in the commune of Sandiara, department of Mbour, on the night of April 28 to 29, 2024. Everything started from old Meissa Ngom’s vehicle which caught fire. When residents of the neighborhood smelled the smoke, some of them came out to help him since he lived alone. Among them was young Malick Pouye. When people came, he panicked, old Meissa Ngom fired warning shots which unfortunately hit young Malick Pouye who died instantly.
This Monday, April 29, informed of the facts, Malick Pouye’s friends, in this case students, ransacked the house of old Meissa Ngom. Information collected at the scene indicates that old Meissa Ngom lived alone and had a very unpleasant character. He often threatened populations and some even considered him mentally ill.
