Some European tour operators that New Brunswick Tourism officials met with last year are making factual errors in their advertising about the province.

Relax before your flight to Saint John, New Brunswick’s largest city
offers another British tour operator, Wexas.
Saint John is neither the largest city in New Brunswick nor its capital. Moncton And Fredericton respectively hold these securities.

The Minister of Tourism of New Brunswick, Tammy Scott-Wallaceheld meetings last year with tour operators in London and Paris, including Prestige Holidays And Wexas. The deputy minister Yennah Hurley and two other officials accompanied her.
mrs Scott Wallace explained last week, before a committee of the Legislative Assembly, that his department works closely with these tour operators and that it was important to speak with them in person.
These were face-to-face meetings with these companies, senior executives and owners of these companies
underlined the minister.

Visiting closed attractions?
Some tour operators are making factual errors despite these discussions and contracts with the province.
The company Wexasin a text on the capital of New Brunswick
invites people to visit the Martello Tower and the New Brunswick Museum, which are in Saint-Jean, not in Frederictonand which are closed.
The public has not had access to the Martello Tower for eight years due to work. It is currently covered in scaffolding. The museum closed its doors in 2022 while waiting to find a new home. The proposed building will not be open until 2026.

The tour operator Canadian Sky also invites people to visit the closed museum in Saint-Jean and the zoo Cherry Brook which closed its doors for good four years ago.
Moncton is known for its Coliseum
according to Wexaseven though it is an old infrastructure around fifty years old.
The Tourism Ministry said Friday it has contacted European tour operators to to update
this information.
