The junior cycling tour of Martinique started this Saturday, April 27. Alexis Doltaire, from the Véloce Vannetais Cyclisme (VVC) club, wins the 1st stage of the 18th edition of the race.

It was a great experience because the landscape is really pretty. Of course, with the difficulty of the course, it’s really nice to win this stage.

A little over 114 km were on the program for this first day of competition. The start was given from Place Christian Marajo to Robert at 1:30 p.m. The arrival was at Vert-Pré.

An 80km700 circuit is on the program for the second stage. It will be contested on Sunday (April 28) between Rivière-Pilote and L’Ajoupa-Bouillon. The start will be at 2 p.m. at the southern commune market.
Route: Market – Poirier roundabout – RN5 – Sainte-Luce – Gros-Raisins roundabout – Céron roundabout – Rivière-Salée – Petit-Bourg roundabout – Ducos – Cocotte roundabout – Lamentin – Airport interchange – Gendarmerie roundabout – Pelletier roundabout – Robert – Augrain – Lestrade – La Trinité – Brin D’amour – Sainte-Marie – Stade de Sainte-Marie – Marigot Bourg – Lorrain – Bourg.
The arrival will be opposite the Bouillon town hall.
