This Saturday, April 27, 2024, The Potier Educational Apiary in (Mayenne) opened its doors to the public. Objective: “Introduce visitors to family and leisure beekeeping” and “remind people that bees are the sentinels of biodiversity”. Marius and Théa, 8 years old, Candice, 4 years old, and Tess, 6 years old, made the visit surrounded by their family.

Located at the exit of the Thévalles district, in Laval (Mayenne), the former campsite which was transformed into an educational apiary, in 2022, opened its doors to the public this Saturday, April 27, 2024. An operation set up thanks to support of the fifteen volunteers present.

“The idea is to present to visitors family and leisure beekeeping, the world of bees, the essential role of pollinators in our food and to remind people that bees are the sentinels of biodiversity”…
