Up to six hours late displayed on the departure boards. On the eve of the weekend, the entire high-speed line between and the East of experienced very serious disruptions this Friday afternoon, due to a power cut on a catenary at of Chalons Champagne (Marl).

This Friday evening, traffic is improving: trains departing from Gare de l’Est are now displayed on time. On the other hand, certain trains towards Paris are still experiencing delays and “traffic will remain disrupted tomorrow” Saturday, warned SNCF Réseau, specifying that “additional work will take place during the day tomorrow Saturday or the day after tomorrow” Sunday. Trains from scheduled for Saturday evening are already delayed: almost 4 hours late for the train scheduled for Saturday April 27 at 8:13 p.m. and 2 hours for the 10:13 p.m. train.

The catenary break has happened “a little before noon.” Throughout the afternoon, the TGVs operating the connections between Strasbourg, /, and Paris were unable to travel on the fast track and had to be diverted to the conventional route, causing delays in both sense.
