1 Discover the secrets of the “Phoenix” in


The “Phoenix” strictly conforms to what the brigs of the 18th century were.

After a visit to the Arcachon Boat Show last weekend, the “Phoenix” is making a stopover in Bordeaux until Monday. The 1760 sailboat, which was used for around forty filming (“1492: Christopher Columbus”, “Dr Who”, “At the Heart of the Ocean”…), even opens its doors to the public. The opportunity to discover its history, but also to take a closer look at its sails, anchors and two masts.

Visits until Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the pontoon of honor, Quai Richelieu. 5 euros, free for children under 12. Guided tours every half hour.

2 Participate in the Asparagus Festival in Étauliers


Asparagus will be in the spotlight all weekend.

The traditional Asparagus Festival, organized each year in Étauliers, in Blayais, is held these Saturday and Sunday. This brings together between 8,000 to 10,000 visitors around around fifty producers of asparagus but also of foie gras, oysters, cheeses, strawberries, duck breast, craft beer, wines… Tastings but also activities are planned: battle chefs, demonstrations, games, walks, carriage rides, transition village… All enhanced with musical strolls. The opportunity to (re)discover this vegetable sometimes forgotten on our plates.

Six years after their last coronation in the VI Nations Tournament, the Blues are playing a final this Saturday (5:45 p.m.) against the formidable England team. Some 27,000 people have already been announced, but there are still a few places left to attend the match. As a reminder, due to work on the high stand of the North turn, the capacity of Stade Chaban Delmas is reduced to just over 29,000 seats.

Why not get some fresh air in the vineyards? Head to Libournais, and more precisely to the Domaine des 4 Vents where Terre de Liens is organizing an open farm day this Saturday, April 27. On the program: visit to the vineyard, tastings, exhibitions but also round table on the future of vines in and workshop on living soils, on the functioning of soils and the issues linked to their preservation. The opportunity to focus on the issues of preserving agricultural land and the installation of young winegrowers in Gironde, in a context of agricultural and wine crisis.

Saturday afternoon, from 3 to 7 p.m., the 11 artists who currently occupy the apartments located at 4, rue du Professor-Vincent, in Lormont, organize visits to their workshops, before their planned departure in June, which will be followed by the destruction of this building. Everyone has been practicing their professional activity there for almost a year. This “super workshop tour” will include visits to the apartments and art installations, as well as walks and workshops. The opportunity to discover the work in progress, in the presence of the artists, with free and open access.

The first edition of the Vindediou wine festival will take place on Saturday April 27 on the banks of the Garonne, under the plane trees.

The first wine festival in Réole, called Vindediou, takes place this Saturday, April 27. Around thirty winegrowers from the Réolais community of communes in South-Gironde will be present to give visibility to their bottles, in a context of wine crisis. All day long, visitors with their tasting pass will be able to interact with the thirty winegrowers present installed in cabins and taste their red, white, rosé and even crémants wines.

The tasting pass includes a glass holder, a glass and two tastings from two different assigned winemakers. Online purchase on Helloasso or on site. Sale of wine by the glass (12 cl): 2 euros.
