The schoolchildren from Agen-d’Aveyron won a national competition: they are going to meet the Blues of Mbappé for two days in Clairefontaine.
It is a list of 18 children which was as much awaited in Aveyron as that of the 23 Blues for Euro-2024 of a certain Didier Deschamps. And if the officialization by the French football federation must take place this Friday, April 26, the information has already reached the Aveyron Football District, this Thursday, April 25: the Saint-Joseph school in Agen- d’Aveyron won the national competition for the “Foot at school” program! As a result, the multilevel CE-CM class of teacher Adeline Creyssels is invited to spend June 6 and 7 at Clairefontaine, the temple of French football, on the sidelines of the Blues’ preparation for the Euro. Exceptional!
Because the stars of the French team should all be there, Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembélé… And the little Agentols will spend a night close to these football stars since the program of this immersion provides for a start at 12 p.m., Thursday June 6, and departure the next day, Friday June 7, at 2 p.m. “Frankly, their works are magnificent, I am confident!”declared Candy Evrard-Roumec, responsible in Aveyron, for the District, of the federal educational program “Foot at school”, a few weeks ago in our columns, when she had the pleasure of seeing two schools of the department, which is only a few kilometers apart from each other, Saint-Joseph, in Agen-d’Aveyron, and the public school of Gages, being winners of the departmental and then regional competitions (Toulouse academy ).
Indeed, initially, 31 Aveyron schools participated in this program, including a cycle of six football sessions at school, but also an artistic component on the theme “when football meets the Olympic and Paralympic Games”.

“We had the choice between creating a static or dynamic workexplained the agentole teacher. The children then chose to make a model representing a papier-mâché balloon placed on a field.
