The former boss of BCGE received 1.9 million francs in 2023

The former general director of the Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE), Blaise Goetschin, received a total gross remuneration of 1.9 million francs in 2023, compared to around 1.8 million a year earlier.

His salary remained unchanged at 728,196 francs, while the variable part increased by 13.8% to 1.2 million, indicates the annual report published Monday.

For the entire management, gross compensation totaled 6.7 million, 6.1 million the previous year. Concerning the board of directors, the envelope increased from 1.2 million to 1.3 million in 2023.

After a quarter of a century at the head of BCGE, Blaise Goetschin left his post on April 5. Today he is respectively a director and vice-chairman of the boards of directors of Arab Bank (Switzerland) and Gonet & Cie.
