This is good news for those who like to hunt, but also for those who would like to clean up their interior! Next Saturday, June 8, IKEA Belgium will organize the largest flea market in Belgium: 8 flea markets will take place simultaneously in the parking lots of its stores, including that of Mons.

“IKEA Belgium wants to bring people together to spend a day in a friendly setting while encouraging them to give a second or third life to their belongings”, explains Nathalie Van Edom, Sustainability Manager for IKEA Belgium. “This event is aligned with IKEA’s commitments: to improve the daily lives of as many people as possible by creating pleasant and affordable living spaces, while adopting a circular and environmentally friendly mode of consumption.”

All kinds of furniture, objects, clothing and toys can be sold there, of all sizes and brands. Entrance to the event is free for visitors. Exhibitors must reserve their space online, registration is now open. They are asked to pay a contribution of 5 euros and will be paid to the “Bienvenue chez vous” program which supports vulnerable single-parent families.

After their registration (open until June 2), exhibitors will receive an electronic confirmation with some instructions and practical information. Unsurprisingly, places are limited. Exhibitors will be able to set up from 9 a.m. The event will be open to visitors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. More information and registration via https://www.ikea.com/be/fr/campaigns/marche-aux-puces-chez-ikea-pub952760b0
