Attention if you take the train this Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Seine-Maritime. The SNCF has just announced on its networks thata breakdown disrupted the journeys. Trains have been cancelled and delays are expected.
A broken level crossing
In detail, these are malicious acts. Five level crossings were damaged, the SNCF specifies to76actu. All the level crossings concerned are located between the municipalities of “Clères and Dieppe”. Three trains are cancelled.
The first alert was issued at 5:30 this morning. Specifically, it was cable thefts that damaged these level crossings. SNCF has filed a complaint and the gendarmerie is now conducting the investigation. For the needs of the latter, the level crossings will not be repaired immediately.
For trains that are not cancelled, delays of up to 20 minutes are to be expected. on arrival at Rouen and Dieppe stations. The return to normal is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
