Nearly 40 associations were present at the 2024 edition of the Tarascon associations forum. In the park of the cultural center, a real small associative village took place under the sun. Avenue Paul-Joucla closed for the occasion, the children, invited by “Passisages”, invaded the road, creating a great atmosphere, with, not far away, the circus workshop of the MJC. On all the stands, the volunteers, because the vast majority are, welcomed the large public, all day long, with a smile.
The inhabitants of Tarascon and their families were all able to find out about the multitude of sports, cultural, artistic, environmental, humanitarian and charitable activities that exist here, in the city “gateway to the upper Ariège”. The mayor, Alain Sutra, not forgetting to thank his services that set up this event, visited all the stands, thus showing, if need be, alongside his deputy Bastien Pitarresi, his immense respect and recognition for everyone’s commitment.
From 10am to 5pm, some took to the stage, showing the public their talents, presenting their passion, or, like the Red Cross, inviting those present to get involved in first aid. On the stands, in the four corners of the park or around the podium, initiations, discoveries, exchanges, conviviality, punctuated the day. You could play volleyball, practice cross training, discover the creation of cartoons, participate in quizzes, challenges… There was something for all tastes and all ages, from baby rugby, which starts at 3 years old, to the senior leisure area, including Objectif 9, Ciné 9 or UST Boxe, among others. The glass of friendship, offered by the city, allowed to end in style this unmissable meeting of the start of the school year.
